Forum Rules
The forums of 99nicu are open for health professionals in neonatal medicine. Registration is needed to for access to the forums. Registration is free.
Members may discuss any issues related to neonatal medicine.
All messages should include a signature including full name, profession or degree, and affiliation. Messages without a complete disclosure of the author identity and affiliation may be deleted by the moderators without prior notice.
Each individual member has the copyright of his/hers own messages. A member can edit and erase messages and also erase discussions he/she started. This individual copyright can be over-riden only be the 99nicu Team, which can edit or erase information, if a member violates the Forum rules.
Discussions related to patient care must not contain any information about patient identity, such as name, date of birth, address, or other contact information to the patient/parents. Authors must respect patient integrity and confidentiality. Authors are responsible that research issues posted, are in accordance with the Helsinki Declaration. Each member are obliged to respect and follow his/hers national laws and regulations regarding patient confidentiality and integrity. Parental consent is recommended for discussions related to specific clinical cases.
Discussions or messages which do not respect these Forum rules will be deleted or edited by the moderators of 99nicu. Members not following the Forum rules may be expelled from 99nicu.
Members acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators, moderators or webmaster (except for posts by these people) and hence will not be held liable.
The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. Members agree that the webmaster, administrator and moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit.
As a user you agree to any information you have entered above being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party, the webmaster, administrator and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.
The e-mail address given in the registration procedure is strictly used for:
1) sending your registration details and password (and for sending new passwords should you forget your current one).
2) internal administration purposes, i.e. sending information related to updates and maintanence of 99nicu.
