Guest yabental
On the basis of the recommendations of the Subcommittee on Hyperbilirubinemia of the American Academy of Pediatrics regarding hour-specific nomograms indications to initiate phototherapyperform an exchange transfusion (2004), we have developed PDA-based software consisting of a data-entry screen, in which the clinician inputs the age of the infant (in hours) and the results of the latest bilirubin test (in mg/dL), and results screen is displaying the corresponding Bhutani risk zone, phototherapy guidelines, and exchange transfusion guidelines. The software has been available on Palm OS and Windows CE, and was recently made available for newer "Windows Mobile" PDAs. The software can be downloaded from www.babydoc.co.il/software/Bili-Aid.html . It is free for non-commercial use. We hope you find these programs useful.
