Hi, do you use in your service Anti-D immunoglobulin prophylaxis in Rh negative female newborn and mother Rh positive ?

I have not found bibliography.

We don't! Just the other way around (give anti-D proph to Rh- mothers if their offsprings are Rh+)

No we don't. But this is an interesting question. It is possible theoretically, materno fetal hemorrhage if at all happens, maternal RBC's in fetal circulation can sensitize the Rh negative infant. We need to look at the literature!

We dont. Very interesting observation. But can a newborn be sensitized by the Rh antigen of the mother. I dont think so.
