Stefan Johansson Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 Are there anything in the history that may indicate an increased risk of seizures, especially hypoxia? Have you yet done EEG and ultrasound of the brain?
drhussam69 Posted June 11, 2009 Author Posted June 11, 2009 dear dr stefan the investigations of EEG and brain ultrasound also free and no history of hypoxia
Stefan Johansson Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 Are the seizures resistant to anti-convulsant drugs?
drhussam69 Posted June 11, 2009 Author Posted June 11, 2009 no the baby is doing well with anti -convulsive drugs but some reales has happened to his case even now we are trying to stop anti-convulsive drugs . what do you thing
Guest Dukstar Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 Generally neonatal seizures with a potentially reassuring neurologic examination can reveal cerebralstroke on brain TDM or MRI... In this case, we rapidly stop anticonvulsivant therapy
