Very interesting with important implications for practice I believe. It is often when we adapt a new tool to the NICU we believe it will help us make things easier. As so often it turns out, every tool has its own things we need to consider when using. Nothing is perfect 😉

Not quite the same topic but in nature about internet sites like 99nicu - and probably the idea behind the virtual nicu:
Should you crowdsource your medical problems?

Interesting especially the part of patients starting their own little informal drug trial.

I enjoyed the first season of the series. The character of Dr. House is great and in some of his words lie utter disturbing truths. I stopped watching though as the medicine is partially so bad and senseless I gave up on it... The psychologic aspects of the series are great though!
For the interested I recommend this link as background to the medicine in the series

Hi @olamedmac
Do you know if there is a protocol for delayed cord clamping available online?
I have looked into the ressource you recommended at the 99nicu meetup in Copenhagen this year, [https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fped.2018.00372/full] but I havent found answers for the following questions:
* best way to keep infants warm during DCC born by caesarean?
* is the infant placed on or next to the mother during DCC?
Thanks!
Francesco
