    Car seat challenge

    I work at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center (SNVMC) and they have a very detailed Car Seat Tolerance Challenge (CSTC) policy. It goes so far as to proscribe testing in a car bed if the infant fails the CSTC twice. Testing in the car bed uses the same criteria as the car seat. Does anyone follow this practice? Also, I cannot find an AAP Policy Statement about this issue. Does anyone know of one?
