Guest marr
Good day, I just want to know if there's anyone using a fisher & paykel HHNC or vapotherm? do you have guidelines for the flow rates? thanks Rudimar
hideva
We use vapotherm in our unit. There are no fixed guidelines as this is something new but the general consensus is to start at 8 lit/min flow and work your way down. I should say that we were initially apprehensive about this device and the higher flow but babies have proven us wrong. They are very comfortable on vapotherm than regular HFNC

hideva
No. We don't have any particular guidelines in our unit, at this point is the personal preference of the physician.
