Private care in India - unforeseen situations

Featured Replies

hi,

i m frm developing country india and working in a private setup, in a population mind set as v poor awareness about neonatal care, its importance and the basics. the problem lies in unpreparedness on the behalf of paediatricians, parents and obstreticians regarding the cost and care nessesary for a good neonatal outcome.

i invite suggestions fr following situations.parents are not expecting any neonatal and pnc complications, and they got to face a daily 3000 to 4000 rupees expense suddenly, and fr 10 to 14 days. now no insurance cover is available to child birth related problems in india currently.plus a disbelief shock on the entire family, and also the negative thinking on parents part. its getting really very difficult to offer ideal neo practices in socioeconomic traingle in our part of world. suggestions please.
