Almost 18 years ago when NAROF came into existence included the following overture:
In 1993, newborn specialist Dr. Jeffrey Maisels (unfortunately, there's silent typo, not to be missed with the spelling of this legendary neo's surname in the website) described neonatology as "a vast and uncontrolled experiment undertaken without informed consent and with possibly undesirable results."
