We use an X-ray to control for the position of UVC and UAC and we don't have an ultrasound. We use a formula to determine the distance and are familiar with the relevant guidelines but don't have a ready protocol for these situations. Therefore, I'd be grateful for any practical insights.

Hello! Happy New Year! I would be really grateful if you could help me with tips for placing an UVC and an UAC. We in our unit turned out to be placing it - incorrectly.We work with NG as we don't have Vygon catheters. How could we determine the position and depth of the catheter? Hello colleagues, I need your help! We just received a new type of ventilator - Maquet Servo I Ventilator. However, so far we have used Babylog 800 Plus. I read in the manual but still don't fully understand the different ventilation modes. So far in our NICU, we have been working with SIPPV and SIMV. Could you please suggest some reading/articles that could help us? We are also taking care of ELBW. We recently had a newborn weighing 650 grams and 2 pairs of twins born in 28 weeks gestation. We are situated far from any university hospitals and need to fend for ourselves. Thank you in advance for any help or advice you can provide us.

Dear colleagues! Monday Jul 20th 2020 the first successful LISA procedure was made in NICU of Multiprofile Hospital for Active Treatment Pazardjik Bulgaria. Baby girl 28 weeks, 950 grams from mother with chorioamnionitis. Still on CPAP (no ventilation), no Dopamine, looks well, few apneas. I know that nothing is certain but it is a step towards the right direction. Congrats to our team!

Do you have any experience using Milrinone in cases of PPHN In my NICU we don't have nitrous oxide and we recently had a case of PPHN I used Dopamine and Dobutamine but after reading this article I am not sure whether that was the optimal therapy.
