Newborn Sepsis Society: Invitation for the Launch Event during CEPAS
Sepsis doesn't wait for a convenient hour, so neither will we. This Friday, 30 October, 08:00โ09:00, the Newborn Sepsis Society launches in Europe at CEPAS 2026 in Lyon. Yes, it's early. We promise it's worth the alarm.
๐ Room: St Clair 2
New society, same goal: fewer newborns harmed by sepsis, and more of us working on it together. What to expect:
๐น Why a new society? Eleanor Molloy, Johan Gyllensvรคrd and Joanna Seliga-Siwecka (short answer: because babies deserve better, long answer: come and see)
๐น The problem: where are we in 2026? Joseph Ting
๐น The future: diagnostics and therapies. Eric Giannoni (evidence included, crystal ball optional)
๐น Open discussion: where do we go from here? You, with the microphone
Families have a seat at our table from day one, not as an afterthought. Mandy Daly will open the session with a message from our parent and public involvement committee.
Already more than 100 members, and we've saved you a chair.
๐ป Can't make it to Lyon? Join us at newbornsepsissociety.org
See you at 8:00 sharp (coffee optional, curiosity required).
