Neonatal falls is an event which should never occur in any hospital. Though most of us presume that neonatal falls can never happen but unfortunately they do happen.

There is a very nice article discussing this issue and making recommendations to prevent neonatal falls. I found this article very informative.

Have you had a neonatal fall in your hospital? Could you share the circumstances of the fall.

never had any falls but near falls could happen esp when someone forgets the latch and a hungry baby kicks the door or a baby is left unattended on a table or couch esp left ther for iv or other procedures

Had a baby fall off the bed - mother went to sleep feeding. No damage to baby but mother got a real scare.
