the first international neonatal respiratory symposium

It is an honor to announce about the first international neonatal respiratory

symposium in the middil east, qatar. on the 8th-10th of March 2007.

5 international and Regional speakers: Prof Marten keszler,Prof J evans US, saleh Al-olyian. KSA, M Alasmi, Mai Busaud, Amer Ammari KSA and many expert candaian Resp Therapist from KSA KFSH.

* 3 round table Hot hands on workshop( Nusing and respiratory care of venitlated infants, inhaled nitric oxide, High frequency oscilatory ventilation)

* 15 lectures given by an excelent 15 international and local neonatology experts in the field.

In this symposium we are involving many of the participants in the round the table discussion hands on workshop.

We will invite a selected participants to share with us their experience and allow them to utilise our respiratory teaching lab.

Just a brief nots about NICU hamad medical corporation Doha qatar: we

are the largest most sophisticated NICU in the middleeast(75 NICU cot)

with 25 dragger 8000 plus ventilator and all with HFOV facilities. We

have 7 Sensormedics HFOV, we use both advanced and ordeniray high flow

CPAP. We have 4 inhaled nitric oxide machines. we have as well the state of the art incubators(ohmeda Jeraff) for all babies and as monitors, our own EEG, Eccho, Head U/S, X-ray lab,

we are very active in researches: 4 RCT and several retrospective

analysis. Our admission per year is about 1600-1800 admissions every year.
