Antihypetensive therapy in newborn

Hi, I wonder how often you meet hypertension in newborn and if you have special guidelines for therapy, because we have newborn born in term with renovascular hypertension, we give ACE inhibitors but blood pressure after one hours goes up. we give it every 8 hours. Please help.

hi, your case of newborn renovascular hypertension is a rare one, must have a severe renovascular anomaly, (you have not given any details), please consult paed nephro, and may be for angio and stent if it is necessary, drug management is difficult.
