We are searching to stabilize an evidence-based protocol for the neuroimaging evaluation of newborns with HIE (with or without hypotermic treatment). Do You use a kind of protocol? Hello, I'm an italian child Neurologist collaborating with the local NICU: in cases of status epilepticus refractory to phenobarbital and midazolam we use a load of levetiracetam IV (50 mg/kg), followed form a manteinance dose of 40 mg/kg/die divided in two doses. Has someone else experience with these AED?
