iPad looks like a nice product but my objection would be its restrictive polices. Everything is controllod by Apple. No software unless apple approves it and puts it in the app store. Cant use the storage of iPad as a storage media for your files. You do not have direct access to its storage. It does not have a file structure like other laptops.

Looks pretty but I have my reservations.

Though the world of Microsoft is less polished and more prone to bugs, but it is also more open, giving a lot of freedom to its users.

Though the ultimate freedom comes in Linux and Android........lets see how things turn out.

I kind of agree... Apple knows how to do their thing, which included how to keep control (without discussing mr Jobs himself, I think the Apple management structure very much a pyramid. The man on the top rules. Hard!)

It is said that there will be some kind of file/media content system though.

Let's hope the competition from other systems (don't forget Chrome OS) will keep also sceptical Apple users happy!
