I am a Neonatal Nurse who is starting a research project and have been collecting ideias and concerns from health care professionals working in Neonatal Care.

My aim is to collect professional opinions about subjects that are controversial or poorly evidence-based in your practice so I would like to know which areas raise questions to you as a practicioner. This can be regarding procedures, treatments, guidelines, supporting parents, descritpion of a condition, etc.

There are a lot of subjects where I feel concerned, but I think my top-list is

1. poor growth in preterm infants, so commonly seen during intensive care (I'd say, we see a state of malnutrition which should be addressed more)

2. infection control

3. prediction of long-term morbidity
