adi13
How many caps and mask are daily used in your NICU on an average per staff? Do you use disposable ones or one made of clothes? A lot of masks and caps are daily used in our small unit. Can't understand how to monitor? Please give your advice as per your NICU policy. Guest JoannieO
We use caps, gowns, masks and sterile gloves for central line and PICC line insertions and fluid changes, also giving medications via PICC lines. Otherwise we don't use them. Everyone who enters the nursery is required to wash their hands and use hand gel before and after touching the baby.
