I want to ask about if newborn with recurrent sepsis and take frequent BL trx , still had anemia with HB 7.7 and reticulocytic count 2% and s. Ferritin 950 with thrombocytosis......how can I deal with ??

Anemia is normocytic normochromic with normal RDW

Can I give BL trx again or what. What's causes of thrombocytosis in this case

i think haemolytic anemia is the cause aided by increased ferrtin and normal retics may be present in haemolysis 

also sepsis should be treated

make pcr for alpha thalasemia and g6pd and incubated osmotic fragilitiy

No jaundice present and normal s.bil
