Gall bladder distension

Recommended Posts

Hello all. We have a full term baby who presented with mass per abdomen at birth. On usg it showed distended gall bladder and nothing else. Baby also has recurrent hypoglycaemia. Does anyone know about distended gall bladder in neonates

I saw few articles which tell that distended gall bladder is associated with birth asphyxia, but this baby did not have one

No acholic stools and no jaundice
