Probiotic supplementation to preterm infants - an international survey study

Probiotic supplementation of preterm infants is a debated topic in many neonatal intensive care units (NICUs).

This short survey aims to investigate the “if's, how's and why's“ around probiotic supplementation of preterm infants. The survey takes about 5-10 minutes to complete.

The link to the survey is: https://forms.office.com/e/0rbYem4Bwg

The survey is the scientific project during my pediatric/neonatal fellowship, and a preparatory workup for an outlined PhD project at Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden. Data collection is open until Dec 20, 2024. All data is managed and stored in an anonymized manner. The results are planned to be published in a peer-reviewed journal. (Swedish Ethical Review Authority, d-nr 2024-00625-01).

Many thanks for participating,

Sara Bjurman, MD, pediatric resident at Astrid Lindgrens Childrens Hospital
