Has any experienced increased infections since beginning to use Giraffe humidification? How long do you generally use humidity for infants < 26 weeks?

Hello Susan,

we have a chart that shows how we tune the humidification in our Giraffe Incubators in relation to the Gestational Age and the days of life.

This sheet is attached below. hope that helps.

We use the humidification as a standard method of care in our preemies, so i can´t tell you anything about an "increase" in infections but this works very well for us.
