Ipad - in neonatal care and research

Featured Replies

I am curious to know more about Ipad use in neonatal care and research.

I read about the application "Papers", which can be used for collections of PDFs.

Please share your experiences here!

PS. We are also interested to have reviews of the actual Ipad, medical/research software etc. If you're interested, please email info@99nicu.org

Hi Stephan I pad has been of excellent use for me for cme in neonatology. Accessing podcasts from neonatology reviews and watching echocardiographic views for a learner though the absence of flash player application makes it difficult to access all videos as from NICU university tutorials

In the near future somebody should come up with a basic application where we can have explanatory videos and pictures for parents of babies being admitted in Nicu like videos showing the basic pathophysiology and treatment and also for medical students and residents

There is a lot what can be done and thereof a lot more to come. Watch out......
