June 25, 201015 yr comment_3493 Hi everyone I am in my last course to finish my BSN and I need to find if any hospital or organization has a different model of nursing management than my current hospital. At my hospital each unit has a nurse manager, clinical nurse specialist and operations supervisot. The NM obviously manages and is responsible for the unit. The CNS is for education, training policy development or changes and can be a relief for NM when she is off. The clinical ops. takes care of time cards time monitoring sick time and vacation time and daily scheduling of unit coordinators. I am interested in seeing if anyone has a different structuring or innotive ideas. Please help thanks Karen Send Sticky Note
