Yes, indeed. I think in the first place it would be valuable to spread the word about the existing forums. I note that the "neonatology in developing countries" currently has 42 members. I would see this potentially grow to 400 or even 4000. "Do I understand it correctly that your own forum is basically an email list service?" It is an email discussion forum, involving child health professionals, publishers, researchers, policymakers - our discussions are about how to meet the information and learning needs of child health professionals and citizens with regards to care of children. We also include child health rights in our discussions. Our discussions are generally about where and how to get information, and different methods of providing information (eg health education, mobile phones). We are not a clinical forum. Some of our members were wondering if we should start a clinical forum, but we suggested it makes more sense to find our what already exists, and build on this.
