Afif
Dear members I wanted to let you know about an iPhone/iPad app that we released yesterday. The project was spearheaded by myself and Associate Professor Patrick McNamara in collaboration with Ikaria who generously funded this initiative and our partners in corporate ventures and IT at The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada. It was released in the iTunes store on May 3rd and it is free to download. We hope that this app will be a great supplement to train neonatologists in echocardiography. Please have a look and feel free to distribute to staff and trainees in your division. Afif
Just to clarify, the website is not free (but will be soon). But the iPhone app is completely free.
Afif
Currently we do not have plans to release it for android due to financial constraints. But if we see that here is demand for releasing it on other OSs then we will try and do that.

Christian Heiring
Looks like a really good app. Unfortunately I can't get it to run properly on neither my iPad nor my iPhone 3GS. Both devices are running the newest iOS edition. Am I the only one experiencing problems? Cheers Christian
Stefan Johansson
Am I the only one experiencing problems? It's working on my Iphone 4, but on my 1 gen Ipad, it's just showing an iphone-sized window with "over-sized" text. Let's hope for some bug fixes, looks really promising (as I just about to be doing some PDA lectures and one of my messages is "Echo, echo, echo!") Stefan Johansson
I got an update notice today, maybe version 1.0.1 fixes some of the problems. Q to @Afif: is there an Ipad version of TnEcho?
Christian Heiring
Hi All, talked to support on the App. Only designed for IPhone 4+ and iPad 3. Don't now if a new version will include the older versions without HD Cheers
Christian Heiring
Ups, typo. Now should have been "know"

Afif
Hi Folks, Thank you for all your comments. Unfortunately due to funding restrictions we could not optimize the app for older devices (iPad 1/2 and iPhone 3 or lower). I hope to raise funding to address these issues in the near future. Afif
There is no dedicated iPad version. I hope to raise funding to make one specifically for the iPad. Also, the website should become free soon and that should run nicely on the iPad.
Afif
The website is now free.
