Posted December 19, 201410 yr Is a male newborn at 34 weeks gestation with respiratory distress without infecting circumstances. Caesarean section on labor started. He comes from the twins pregnancy, he is the second born and sister is without symptoms. What suggest the radiologic image?
December 24, 201410 yr thanks for posting your case here i see a little displacement of main airways toward lt, with that -black- representing tha air highly suggestive of pneuomomediastinum . make sure baby recieved proper ventilation , if on cpap start ventilation if his distress score is raising no need for drain in these cases . thanks
