Is a male newborn at 34 weeks gestation with respiratory distress without infecting circumstances. Caesarean section on labor started. He comes from the twins pregnancy, he ispost-1013-0-61104900-1419021085_thumb.jp the second born and sister is without symptoms. What suggest the radiologic image?

thanks for posting your case here

i see a little displacement of main airways toward lt, with that -black- representing tha air

highly suggestive of pneuomomediastinum .

make sure baby recieved proper ventilation , if on cpap start ventilation if his distress score is raising

no need for drain in these cases .

thanks
