September 3Sep 3 Has any one thought of using CGM (continuous glucose monitoring) device for neonates?Instead of poking the tiny soles multiple times, we can get the reading continuously which can be tracked and managed appropriately. At least on those chubby macrosomic babies who does not have problems with subcutaneous tissue.Dr. Prakash KabburNeonatologist, USA
September 4Sep 4 We have tried using the "regular CGMs" a few times, with mixed experience. Sometimes it has seemed to work pretty well, but other times, we have had strange measurements coming out. So, we are not using those routinely.@Gustaf Lernfelt didn't we discuss this recently, in the context of a paper that recently came out (but I have forgotten the details...)
