at the past year (2009 of course) we treat with laser or crytherapy almoust 100 premies with ROP stage 2 or 3 or plus disease or threshold, and yes we use avastin in 10 patients with ROP resistant to therapy, only 5 patients wet well... i think avastin therapy is promisourius antimonoclonal therapy but we need to study more... i sugest you:

How many time passed since the traetement? In the New Delhi Meeting was presented many papers about this new treatment, before , after laser and only without laser. I have too cases treated with avastin after laser. One regresed with attached retina. Other progressed. I think that the avastin increassses the fibrosis in the last case. Sorry for my english

Unfortunately the case of treatment was too hard. The cri and laser therapy was unsuccessful. In the left eye retimal detachment developed. Right eye was treated with vitreal surgery. Ophthalmologists das not use Avastin in any stage.
