I like the time frame.

Something that I always found compelling was cross-talk of two speakers arguing on one subject, say PDA therapy and each speaker arguing for or against therapy (prophylactic, surgery options etc.) and citing the evidence for each situation. This done well is very educative - it needs the right speakers though..

I think a 3 day schedule will be more comfortable. Adding time for discussions adding some topics on basis of EBM in the first day will be valuable addition. 30 minutes lectures is OK. Podcasting of these lectures on ourwebsite will be another intersting option.

I think it would be lots of work to coordinate three days of rather short lectures.

And expensive, given travels and hotels more maybe 25 speakers.

But, maybe topics related to EBM deserve longer lectures, say 40 min lectures with 20 min discussion?

What do you think about a 3-day plan (see attachment).

19 speakers in all.

Just few additions

Thanks for filling the schedule up!

I have communincated with JACK/Habib. Maybe it would be good to focus on a few major topics (3-4), have several lectures on that topics, finishing with a panel discussion.

We have started a Wave (Google Wave) about the schedule.

Hesham, do you have Wave, if not I can send you an invite!
