About Me
She was born in Prague Czech Republic. At first studied High School of Social Services then later
started her nursing career in Nursing College as Diploma Pediatric Nurse. She chose Neonatal Nursing
as her passionate job and continued her education towards Neonatal Nurse Specialist for Intensive
Care in Brno, Czech Republic. In 2014 finished her bachelor’s degree in Nursing Sciences at Edinburg
Napier University, UK and she continues towards master’s degree in Advanced Neonatal Nurse
Practitioner studies in UK as well.
From her work perspective, she started in Czech Republic in Faculty Thomayer’s Hospital where she
worked as staff nurse in NICU level II. Opportunity raised in Saudi Arabia for her and she moved to
Riyadh where she worked for almost 8 years in different hospitals and different positions such as
senior staff nurse in NICU, Head Nurse of NICU, and NICU Clinical Nurse Specialist. In 2017 she moved
back to Czech Republic where she works as Neonatal Nurse Specialist in Prague in Perinatal Centre,
NICU level III – IV.
She has been NRP instructor for several years, finished S.T.A.B.L.E course, promoting developmental
care in NICU, active in NICU education, explores her knowledge across the neonatal nursing and
neonatology itself. One of her interest is neonatal ventilation and equality of nursing and medical
staff and their team work.
Zuzana is active speaker in different Neonatal Conferences in Europe and Middle East.
