In extreme preterm babies who failed hearing screening at the time of discharge. do you screen these babies for cyotmegalovirus infection although the age is 2-4 months old?

We screen all the under 1500g on the first days.  

And you treat if positive ???

Honestly, I do so little service at our delivery hospital now that I cannot recall the last positive I cared for. If you are interested, email Pablo.sanchez@nationwidechildrens.org as he is very active in CMV research.
