Stefan Johansson Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 This would be my take - if the infant seems perfectly well, I would not worry too much. On the other hand, if there are some minor clinical signs/symtom (like some reduction in muscle tone, not perfectly normal feeding behaviour etc-etc), I'd be suspicious and probably do some basic lab workup and then refer for clinical followup with the community pediatrician (and then he/she refers back in case of increased suspicion of congenital disease) 1
M C Fadous Khalife Posted November 17, 2019 Posted November 17, 2019 For me, definitely this baby must be closely observed and basic lab tests are essentials;
Martin.Keszler Posted December 11, 2019 Posted December 11, 2019 I have observed this repeatedly in babies whose mothers were taking SSRI antidepressants, specifically Zoloft. Happy baby who does not cry. Cheers, MK 1 2
