Not at all, the PICC should be done under completely aseptic procedure. How do you make sure that the canula is still sterile????

ABO INCOMPATIBILITY
I think as you did a top-up transfusion with 5 -10 ml of PRBCs together with intensive phototherapy and IVIg would be a good start, but be ready for EBT.

Dopamine and enteral feeding
I worked in different units, most of them do not feed during inotropic infusion, but some are feeding. I did not notice any difference in the outcome or NEC incidence.

Dear Professor K Haque I usually use this guideline: 1. This will depend on the organism isolatd, but generally: 7 to 10 days for gram positive organisms, and 14 days gor gram negative organism. Hyperbilirubinemia and IV lipids
IV lipids can compete with albumin in binding free bilirubin, therefore it is advisable to lower or discontinue intralipid with significant hyperbilirubinemia approaching the exchange level. Thanks
