Hello again, as you know there are several surfactant brands around. Which surfactant do you use and why?

We use Curosurf here. 

There are two surfactant brands in our NICUs：Curosurf and CALsurf（Calf Pulmonary Surfactant for Injection ）

Hi! We use CUROSURF in ELBW, VLW groups, and Survanta in 1500g+.

I’ve worked in a few centres, and in Europe, Curosurf is the dominant product. However, in Canada, they use Bles, which is a bovine-based product. The dosage is 5ml/kg, which is a significant volume compared to Curosurf. This can sometimes lead to lung flooding and prolonged desaturation.
