Dear Colleagues This is an invitation for a neonatology staff nurse to visit Egypt for two weeks. She is expected to give training to the nursing staff in a level 3 NICU in Mansoura University Children's Hospital. Teaching activities will include lectures, on the job training. The idea is to improve the quality of care given by the nursing staff in our NICU. The visit is totally covered, including travelling tickets, full board accomodation in hospital facilities as well as visit to tourist attraction sites in Cairo. Priorities will be given to staff nurses in Nursing Faculties in US or European countries, fleuncey in English and experience in teaching nursing staff in…

Hello colleagues, as part of a nursing review on a our Unit, we are examining the level of experience currently held on the Unit, as well as nursing numbers, compared with that that is perceived to underpin positive outcomes for our patients in mortality and morbidity. hi, i m frm developing country india and working in a private setup, in a population mind set as v poor awareness about neonatal care, its importance and the basics. the problem lies in unpreparedness on the behalf of paediatricians, parents and obstreticians regarding the cost and care nessesary for a good neonatal outcome. i invite suggestions fr following situations.parents are not expecting any neonatal and pnc complications, and they got to face a daily 3000 to 4000 rupees expense suddenly, and fr 10 to 14 days. now no insurance cover is available to child birth related problems in india currently.plus a disbelief shock on the entire family, and also the negativ…

Our medical schools here at Egypt offers Neonatology residency programs beside pediatric ones,we spend 2 years at NICU,8 months at pediatric wards,4 months at PICU On the other hand i found that at USA or UK neonatology 's a subspeciality that one should finish pediatric residency first in order to be eligible to 've neonatology fellowship i just wanna know if our system considered weak or what ?
